To the Woodland District 50 community: Our goal is to continue the work started in the past four years and build on that foundation for the future of the students, parents, staff, and citizens of the Woodland community. Our co-number one goals are Fiscal Responsibility and Educational Excellence. The School District's five year Strategic Plan is in its first year. We must continue to work toward the strong academic and financial goals set in this plan. Our students deserve nothing less than our continued best efforts to support them. Our challenging economic conditions will require continued diligence, creative ideas, dedicated efforts to continue to hold the line on expenses, maintain minimum fund balances and keep the district fiscally strong. The Strategic Plan also called for continued efforts to reach out to the whole community to work together to strengthen the schools. We believe in engaging creative minds among the community to move toward new solutions to existing challenges and retaining a highly qualified staff to propel the district from good to great. Honesty, Integrity, Dedication and Hard Work are our pledge to the Woodland District 50 Community. All children are our top priority. |
